Ralph and Beverly have been married for 49 years and have three adult, married sons (Travis, Ty and Troy) and 13 grandchildren. Ralph and Bev began attending Mill Creek in 2015. While in Manhattan they belonged to Grace Baptist Church, where Ralph served as an elder and Bev served in the music and counseling ministries. While at Purdue, Ralph and Bev belonged to Faith Church in Lafayette, Ind., where Ralph served as a deacon (their equivalent to elder) and both Ralph and Bev were involved in the biblical counseling ministries.
At Mill Creek, Ralph and Bev have taught in the Movers and Doers class and Ralph has participated in the Perspectives course and the Wednesday morning men’s Bible study group.
“I have a deep trust in the sufficiency of the scriptures and that the Bible provides direction and answers to all things that we may face on this earth,” Ralph said. “I believe that biblical eldership is clearly described in the Bible as the way the New Testament church is to be shepherded and I would consider it an act of obedience and opportunity to serve.”
