Chris grew up on a farm in south central Nebraska near Kearney. He attended Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Neb., and went on to graduate school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Today, Chris works for CBOE (stock and options exchange operator) overseeing technology and operations.
Chris and his wife, Cassie, have four children; Claire, Ava, Grace, and Noah. The Isaacsons began attending Mill Creek in 2012. Prior to that, they attended Olathe Bible Church (the church that planted Mill Creek 20 years ago) for seven years, and then were part of another church plant for about two years. He has served on Mill Creek’s elder board since 2015.
He believes his gifts are in the areas of leadership, teaching, and giving. Chris has a passion for God's Word and delights in it while teaching it. He enjoys mentoring, reading, running, and sports.
